    Default boxer's fracture

    did you ever have one?

    which metacarpal?

    line or chip fracture?

    how long in a cast?

how long to recover full range of motion?

how long to recover former pre-injury strength in grip? strength in structure?

had a recent one due to a freak accident. chip fracture on the right 3rd metacarpal last january 20.

not as well as before. don't have full range. some pain but ithink more due to stiffness. my metacarpal has "bowed" so i don't have a knuckle. fells weak.

well, it doesn't mean you are completely out for the whole time. try substituting with bolo punches or try closing gaps to throw elbows. its a good time to train (think of situational training) how you could work around and fight with an injury like that.

truth be told man, in the real world, i wouldn't want to throw a punch. elbows and knees have always been my thing. but the good doctor said NO IMPACT until he says so.

And after one year, go to your nearest boxing gym so that the freak accident never happens again
