Pain in lower back(Near/Around tail bone)
Pain started yesterday(5/25/2010 - Tuesday) Honestly, I don't know what caused this. During the urcc qualifiers last Saturday, I did not get hit anywhere near my lower back or tail bone area. It might have been caused by the bus ride I took, the position I was in was kind of awkward(Legs a little bit elevated and near the body).
I can't even walk properly now. Every step hurts my lower back; when I stand up and stretch downward it starts to hurt reeeeal bad(like stretching after a good workout, that kind of pain).
Any takes on this? Might visit the doctor if it continues for a week.
Thank you.

If the lower back pain subsides upon rest and aggravated by activity it maybe just a lumbar muscle/ligament sprain/strain probably due to awkward movements, lifting, or twisting your back during your qualifiers. My personal opinion is to rest your back for no more than 48 hours and resume some simple stretching and back exercises to re-strengthen the muscles and to consult a doctor. Anti-inflammatory meds and Muscle relaxants are usually taken but you should consult your doctor regarding this.

Thank you for the tips sir. I will have a check up tomorrow and an x-ray just to be sure. Researched and asked around, the most common answer was Coccydynia or pain in the tailbone area.
