Default Silat is very fitting for this section

It's a blade are that happens up close, very close. We joke about it being the art you could do in a phonebooth. But like all the other arts, there is some really shitty Silat also.

I'm done a few seminars with Uncle Bill, more KunTao versus Silat but I still love it and how he's made Silat work for him. The guy moves like a cat and is always smiling. You look at what Willem had done and has and extreme softness to his version while Vitor's Tongkot is a lot of brute force but again, works for him. I've never had the honor to see Paul de Thouars move in person so I can't really judge him but have seen he's top guy several times. Spent a few years learning Vitor's Tongkot under Guru Bob but have now moved on with Paul's attitude of Silat via Guru Stevan Plinck still under Guru Bob.
