Also there's a gun sale going on at P.B. Dionsio, I think their pump action Akkar shotgun is only 16,000 with papers already, i think they have some handguns on sale also. reply here if you guys are interested il can give you the person to contact.

For home defense, buckshot is a great choice, single slugs not so good inside homes cuz it goes thru most stuff : )

For handguns, kung pang home defense lang a revolver would be ideal because its easy to use, easy to clean and easy to teach to family members. no need to be proficient in clearing your semi auto handgun if it jams, misfires etc

also you should get an improvise dry box for your ammo if you plan to store them for long periods of time, oxidation plays havoc with your ammo and they can be unreliable.

    just my 2 cents : )
Pardon my ignorance but what's the difference between a buckshot and a birdshot? 9mm user kasi e. He he he. We were supposed to buy a shotgun as a second firearm before but we decided to have a his and hers 9mm instead.

About revolvers, do they have safety locks?

buck vs bird arguement. i say bird because you dont want a big kill. many say buck because it's a kill ammo. heavier projectiles vs bird's light projectiles. i want my victim este intruder to have a chance to live.

Shotguns are the best home defense for most people. Small buckshot is best, birdshot is good as well. A pump shotgun is best, less likely to jam and the sound of chambering a round will make most intruders run for cover. Hand guns are too hard to use in close quarters, and take lots of practice to gain accuracy.

In America a gun in the home is 10 times more likely to kill a family member than an intruder. Something to remember.

yes, i believe its true. that's why i don't have any guns here with me. our room is near the kitchen. i have a good set of kitchen knives if needed. the phone is always there too, plus our house is about a mile away from the police department.

use bird shot not buck in the house. Buckshot over penetrates walls and people for home defense. Birdshot is for thin skinned animals. Us included. If its outdoors...use buck
