1) Most of the attackers were male: almost all of the victims were male.
2) Of the 25 or so that I can remember, only 6 of the attacks were one person vs one person, all of the others involved groups.
3) The only fights that didn't use weapons were the 6 fights that were one on one.
4) The most common weapons used were rocks, followed by anything you can throw. Bottles and light bulbs seemed to be popular.
5) Fighting was done mostly at hurling range.
6) The closer-in fighting used planks, benches, sticks, knives, ice-picks and screw drivers.
7) The one-on-one fights I recall were split evenly: 3 fights were male vs male; and 3 fights were femaile vs female.
8)The men all seemed to be friends and were drunk. The women didn't seem to be friends and fought over some perceived insult like being bumped into.
9) The men seemed to be evenly match physically. One woman tended to be bigger than the other.
10) All of those participating in the one on one fights seemed to be comfortable financially and fought at venues that sold alcohol and played music.
11) The male fighting style tended to be to Clottey up while being attacked then when an opening presented itself (after their opponent got tired after 2 or 3 missed punches) they would close their eyes and swing wildly hoping for the best. The females tended to prefer attached striking, using either their opponents hair or shirt to hold while why swung overhand rights (usually open hand.)
12) The cheap shot was a favoured tactic. Usually looking away and talking to someone else, then veering back with a wide haymaker. (Tae kwon do girl notwithstanding)
