Just a few clarifications to Shootodogs post. ARPI is headed by Mr. Raymond Velayo. Mr. Dominguez was part of ARPI until he was asked to leave a few years ago. He currently heads Philippine Council Kali Eskrima and Arnis Masters. This organization has the backing of Senator Zubiri over ARPI. You can go back and read some of Bill Velasco's articles outlining the problems both he and Zubiri have with ARPI.
As well General Ver founded Naraphil. WEKAF was founded by the Canete brothers of Doce Pares.

wala naman talagang martial arts na sports ang habol sa umpisa e. ang sports ginagawa para mapractice ng ligtas at makapagcompete.
pumunta ka at magtanong ka siguro sa ARPI para makuha mo ang dahilan nila.
pag-kakaisa lang talaga kailangan natin para makabuo tayo ng iisang Arnis, Kali, Escrima body. Meron na tayong WEKAF, NARAPHIL, DOCE PARES Org. pero madaming mga Arnis Escrima Kali system na ayaw makiisa para makabuo tayo ng iisang org. Alisin na nga dapat ang pride sa atin, walang kwuenta na ginawang National Sports ang Arnis kung walan tayong oneness. Idis-regard na lang natin kung anong style meron tayo, MAGKAISA tayo! Ang Cinco Teros System(BIAGTAN) from Pangasinan/ Cavite ay susuporta, anuman na grupo ang marecognize ng PSC/ IOC bilang NSA.

talaga? Ngyun meron ng ARPI na ready suportahan ng PSC kung sakali, ngyun kaya mo ba alisin ang Pride mo para magkaisa gaya ng sinasabi mo at mag pa under sa ARPI? O Puro salita ka lang, kung talagang seryoso ka sa sinasabi mo, sali na dali sa ARPI..
no problem sa amin yan igorotak. unang una, seasoned Christian kami, kaya wala sa amin ang pride. pag nanjan na ang ARPI as NSA support kami jan. sa MAP nga nuon under pa kay kru valdez, 2005 member na ang Biagtan Muaythai. yung ibang member group ayaw sa amin kaya hindi kami nagtuloy, kasama ko nuon si founder ray na nakipag usap kay kru valdez dati. actually, one a member always a member, pag tiningnan mo seguro sa record ng MAP under kay kru valdez member na ang Biagtan Muaythai, sa name ni Raysaldo Biagtan. Ang point is, wala kaming PRIDE. :-)
Si founder ray biagtan isang Evangelical pastor, pinapangaral nya sa amin ang Word of God, mataas na disiplina sa martial arts, brotherhood, pagkakaisa, sa aming grupo at ibang grupo.
Pag may mga nagco-comment na sabi eh sa amin sila, hindi sila mga regular trainees namin, kasi mga trainers namin kasakasama namin sila sa Bible studies and Worship Fellowship, nagtuturo kami sa mga street children, sa mga kabataan na nalululong sa masamang bisyo, tinuturuan namin sila ng martial arts at moral values with the Word of God.

checked the records and asked the officials of map, Biagtan Muay Thai was never affiliated in MAP, yun ibang officials nga hindi sya kilala, si Kru Billy Alumno lang ata ang nakakakilala sa kanya, and nag confirm na hindi naging member sa MAP ang Biagtan Muay Thai...
and for god's sake, let's keep faith and religion out of the topic. god was never involved, wag natin isali ang diyos.
FMA was developed and enhanced because of the differences of styles. it was improved over the years because of conflicts, fights, and duels amongst groups, masters, etc. kaya let's leave it as it is para mas mag-evolve pa. parang adobo yan, mas masarap pag iba iba ang sangkap.
as with the sports governing body, as they say, a strike is a strike. another good thing with FMA, sabi nga ni TK at SD, adopt and adapt. pwede naman gumawa ng general guidelines e.
