Audio Setup

anyone here knows a thing or two about car audio setup? I'm planning to setup my pick up and as you know there is very little or no space for 8" subs and further. I just want a decent system I already purchased an MB Quart Primium Speaker with tweeters. However I still need subs and amps... there are compact subs are these good or not? TIA!!!

movie- pioneer/ jbl,
good bass-kicker/ v12,
clarity-??? they're ok. i would prefer old altec lansings, or new clarions.

the trend among audiophyles now are to get the old speaker systems of old movie houses. they cost cheapest 100k right now. i'm thinking..."are you crazy???" but yes, i went to a friend's listening room that had some old moviehouse speakers hooked up. big BIG differences. the clarity is incredible.

I just got at banawe and reconciled with my friends there they compete on these kinds of things... According to them budget wise with quality is Focal, Rockford Fosgate or lower range is DLS. I installed a compact subs with amps this afternoon so far so good. THanks for the rep shootdog.

Boss Barubgkol I'll post ASAP kaso hindi ko napicturan yung mga magic na ginawa like sound deadening yung amps ko JBL front.. Yung mga wire napakakapal ng kinabit. I highly recomend all of you to this guy(for the serious only) He's been wining awards and competitions since he started hes also a good person and has a good personality He will recomend the best out there that most people doesnt know. He also has his own brand. Basag yung MB Quart na nakuha ko sa Banawe Kaya i'll have to get another from them. I'll post soon. Thanks guys... Im suprised though sa PinoyMMAers na walang nagcocomment dito hahaha. Oh well.

According to the experts MB Quart China na... yung V12 fake na finake pa! Sa Head unit either eclipse or alpine ang the best... no not pioneer or JVC... Audio system is one of the best out there yung entry level na seperates nila 16,800 pesos na wala pa yung cables but the diffrence is there yung Crossovers palang ang layo na 9,800 na yung MB Quart just a couple of bucks.... I would like to mention CIARE din in case most of you don't know what audio system and ciare are these are the brands used in competitions loudest of the loudest db producing speaker out there. But if you want these stuff prep your pockets entry level would start around 100k...

On my car, a Dodge Avenger, I have a Kenwood head and sneaked in a small 40-watt 4-channel amp to stock speakers. Ok na ako! Ayoko yung parang dala mo components ng bahay na yumuyugyog na kotse at nagkakalasan na mga tornilyo sa lakas.

salamat brod jonz. ruel, nakita ko nga yung setup na ginawa mo noong pinadala mo sa akin yung pics. actually ayoko din noong dumadagundong. gusto ko yung malinaw at crisp ang tunog. saka yung tamang lakas lang.

my car is a good template for modifications and add-ons. sa ngayon kase, ampanget ng stock audio setup ng kotse ko. mahina talaga siya especially when driving in the freeway. the road noise just eats up my music. i have 2 speakers nakakabit sa pinto tapos 2 twitter na nakakabit sa A-pillar.... yun na yon!

Try to put in a little Amp if you're not into those dumadagundong setups. May rear setups ba yung kotse mo? Nakalimutan ko na kasi. If you don't have plans to put rear speakers, puwede na sayo yung 2-channels. Marami sa newegg!
