i believe in three things: cardio, core, and combat.

what are the most effective time efficient exercise for:

    CARDIO

    CORE STRENGTH

let's forget combat for the mean time since this is a martial arts forum anyway.
    peace and love and happiness

i will join you on this. . .

my normal jog in amoranto oval is 3rounds non-stop. . .

im targeting to make it 4-6 as a warmup before training muay thai. ..

the full face headgear helps also since hindi sya open.

Since the days of combat (or, at least mine) are most likely gone, these are the two things that I focus on right now - Cardio and Core Strength. Basically, it gives me a good sense of well-being and my martial arts is now focused on self-preservation reasons. Basically, my type of training sticks to HIIT. High intensity interval training (HIIT) is an exercise strategy that aims to improve your performance with a series of short training time or sessions.Time is short, workout is intense.

    Core muna ako...

A good foundation is a good core since the core of the body supports everything else. I clench my lower abs throughout the whole day. Lying down on bed, sitting on office chair, walking to the office or gym. Then I work it up to the middle abs, then the upper abs, then the sides. Using the glutes (PWET) for supot... este support.

After that, Bodyweight lifting with clenched core. Squats to sprawl and feet-elevated push-ups lang. (Bodyweight currently at 270 lbs. from 290 last October)

Im so bad at sprint.

    For combat, drills, drills, drills.

Teka, punas pawis muna ako... (look at my avatar)... ayan konti pa...

    GAH! Sabog talaga Cardio ko...

Nag training ako kanina... After extensive warm-ups, Drills nung mga lessons nung last session...

    Hay...

buti ka pa nga tumatakbo eh. ako nagjajog dati sa subdivision namin when i was young, more than five years ago. tamang scope out ng chicks eh.

shooto: try mo skip rope + burpee combo. 3 minutes skipping rope then a minute of burpees nonstop for around 5 rounds. dapat walang lag, especially when transitioning from burpees to skeipping. i use this as my warm up when training by myself.
