Default 5x5 weight lifting system and kettlebells.

Can someone help me create a routine and program using 5x5 system with Olympic lifts trainning and include some kettlebell workouts? should i just do kettlebells on off days when im not doing the 5x5 system?

i would suggest that you focus first on building strength. 5x5 is really effective in building strength, not to mention that it also gives you a nice bod to boot.

since 5x5 is done 2-3 times a week, that would not leave a lot of time for kettlebell workouts. to design a 5x5 program, click this link. Eclipse Gym :: View topic - Bill Starr 5x5 Primer - How to create your own 5x5 program

I think this still leaves you plenty of time to add some kettlebell work outs to your routine. It will certainly compliment the said program. And yes Swings are great as a finisher. But don't be affraid to overtrain if you swing a bell 5 min a day to start of your day.

you always have to remember this simple fact when doing strength training. strength improves first, then your body builds up mass afterward. the initial bulking up that you will experience whilst lifting is the result of your body's reaction to a stimuli (lifting). this is temporary. hindi ka magiging lou ferrigno sa isang linggong buhatan lang.

kaya bumibigat yung ibang naglilift lalo na yung mga advocates ng 5x5 is that they eat as much as they lift para mag hypertrophy agad. as a martial artist, di naman tayo parang oso kung kumain eh. you could still maintain your bodyweight whilst doing 5x5.
