Thing is, the kid's got a natural knack for grappling. Kuha niya agad armbar from mount and from back, key lock, at kimura. His double leg needs a lot of work and his striking... well, may bad habits pa (from a muay and boxing perspective) since he came from a Taekwondo background. I'm thinking of having him concentrate on grappling first para di siya matakot ma-takedown once may striking na siya.

Plus, it gives his uncles and dad an excuse to have a weekly training session among ourselves also (lumabas din ang tunay na agenda. haha jk)

that's what i was thinking... grappling is supposed to be like second nature to humans.... afterall, as babies, we all started from our backs anyway. that is why i personally think that striking properly takes a lot more time to learn... but that's just my opinion. i'm sure many would disagree. some would always think it's easier to punch or kick or whatever...

They start at SSP next week, but the dad wants 'em to crosstrain with Deftac too. I'm coming along with them. Hahaha
