Does Energy Drink Really Boost Our Energy?
Well im not fond of drinking Energy drinks, I only drinks once during one sparring session but I dont feel the effect of it, but I do drink Gatorade after training (Well its not Energy Drink more of a replenisher). I have never tried any since that.
Heres I want to ask to you guys do you know any of such energy drink that can live to its pronouncement and potential? Ung talagang magiging superman ako pag uminom ako. Its a metaphor expression pero gusto ko talaga maging hyper ngayon while training. I kinda feel lazy this past two weeks and lacks lot of motivation. My mind wants to train more but my body doesnt react.

It's mostly the caffeine that does the trick. You can take a shot of espresso before training for motivation and increased endurance. It also dulls the pain in your muscles. I used to do it for training, one coffee in the morning and an energy drink/coffee in the afternoon.
Energy drinks just add energy-releasing B-vitamins, and things like Taurine and Ginseng into the mix.

For me, it gives me that added zip when I'm too lazy to train. I take it about thirty minutes to an hour before training.

it's false advertisement. energy drinks, if you notice the label, is loaded with energy releasing b-vitamins+caffeine. meaning, you already have all the energy you need. it doesn't boost it, but it aids in releasing that energy. as part of my daily diet, i normally have b-vitamins as supplement. yes, coffee would have that same effect too. sometimes, its all in the mind.
for me, at least for my mind, a good BJ does wonders..... buko juice.

Honestly ang mataas sa mga energy drinks ay ung sugar niya, which i think more of a "sugar rush" binibigay nia compared to the "kick" ng caffeine. Try niyo sir ung coffee
lang and less sugar.

@ machete I'd agree with the coffee thing if coffee didnt make me go to the bathroom every ten to fifteen minutes.
@ Burongkol I dont agree that a good BJ gets you hyper. last i tried it weakened my knees so bad I................. oh Buko juice? i guess kanya kanyang trip hehe
for me whenever i trained hard, the only energy drink i used to use was extra joss. i mean it s got to be one of the original energy drinks in the country (next to red bull and lipovitan but those made me fart like hell) does it work? well I can say that i lake the degree to explain that on a scientific matter so i'll just say it from personal experience, it works for me. Amino acids are another supplement people use but some disapprove of amino. dextrose powder? well I guess it depends on preference. research and try it. if it doesnt work try something else.

Extra Joss works for me too. Plus, it doesn't have any sugar although I hear that it can cause damage to your internal organs in the long run.
